Why we exist
Car interiors need a different remediation playbook.
A car cabin packs carpet, foam, leather, adhesives, wiring and a ventilation system into a few cubic metres. When water gets in, the spot you can see is rarely the whole story. The real problem is usually under the carpet liner or inside the seat foam.
Car Mold Removal Experts exists because nobody else handles this well. A detailer wipes off what's visible and masks the smell. A building remediator has the right instincts but the wrong tools for a vehicle. So we built a process for cars specifically: find and fix the moisture source, fumigate with chlorine dioxide, pull the seats and carpet liner when the job calls for it, clean and extract every affected material, then fumigate again, dry and condition. The car stays with us 2 to 3 days in most cases, and we don't cheap out on supplies, because the goal is mold that's gone rather than hidden.
We currently serve Vancouver and Metro Vancouver, with more Canadian cities planned as the team grows.
Operating principles
Kill it, then remove it
Fumigation kills the growth and extraction pulls it out of the materials. Wiping mold off a surface does neither, which is why the smell always comes back after a regular detail.
